I recently went to the Bloom Lash Boutique where the lovely Amber applied this super fun semi-permanent lash extension that has really impressed me.  A new way to add something exciting to your wedding or just a fun weekend – why not have a afternoon of eyelash pampering instead of a nail-bar or spa – you are adding an element of sass and drama to your big  day while having a Xtreme time with your girlfriends!

I have had mine for a week now and all I get is compliments and coments on how great they look – I don’t often promote products but I am in LOVE with this one and will be sporting these babies all summer for sure  - I’m telling everyone about it because its just plain fun and anyone who knows me – will say that I’m all about having fun and trying new things.

]]> Just had to share this with everyone – at what age / time / place do your children take on the role of “hall monitor” – just wondering … as my 19 year old son ( yes I have kids that old ) has now taken on the role of “My Keeper”.

Admittedly I have a crazy schedule, lots of meeting, client appointments, and networking events that I attend – OK – so we can also pepper in a few dates here and there. In this craziness I call a normal life, my son has decided that I have a new curfew of  11pm and if I’m out later than that I get a call …. this is what those calls consist of:

“Mom – where are you? You know nothing good happens after midnight – and don’t you know that there are tons of creepers out this late? You need to come on home now, I will wait up.”

Are you kidding me?? The pitiful thing is that I actually find myself explaining, giving my location and estimated ETA – gotta love it! 

As I was told recently by a girlfriend, my boys have my back and its all out of love. So I guess I’m happy that I have a new “keeper” and that happens to be my son Ryan.

Love you guys – you all make my world better every day…. <3  Mom

The Mint Museum Uptown provided the perfect backdrop for this Classic Hollywood celebration – the space provided the bones and the decor expressed the larger than life personalities of this couple.  Its always a joy to see to people who embrace life, love, friends & family with everything they have!

 One option is Strike City located in the Charlotte EpiCentre. Strike City is an upscale bowling alley that also offers dining, great drink specials, wonderful music and a party that goes on all night!

Another option you might consider is a popular club, Butter. Located in the Music Factory center, Butter offers a fun environment with “top 40” music and a crowd that is sure to keep you dancing.

The EpiCentre also houses two wonderful clubs, Suite and Whiskey River. Both are amazing environments. Suite is more of an upscale party, similar to Butter, but with its own glamorous style. Whiskey River, described as a unique blend of unpretentious charm, feel-good music and spontaneous atmosphere, is a wonderful place to go and let loose! They both provide a fun environment for all.
